Trip to Denmark

Sometimes one has a feeling he should step out, go across the borders of everyday and try something. With such a feeling we headed to Danish Herning for two international dog shows on 5th and 6th November.
And it has really payed off. We were quite pleasantly surprised by a great quality of poodles presented. The very first day was kind of a warm up since we ended up with not super shiny results. Neither Elishka nor Ruby achieved desired CAC, just Excellent 1.
On the second day we knew better what waters we sail. It bacame obvious that without pleanty of lacquer and "head made of concrete" we don't stand a chance. Sadly. But on the second day it went great. Elishka got V1, CK, CACIB, Danish Winner 2011 and BOB and therefore fulfilled requirements for Danish champion.
Ruby got V1, CK, CACIB, Danish Winner 2011 and BOS - and so he became Danish champion as well. More about Ruby you can find here:

I'd like to thank Petra for a super weekend and trips we made. It was nicely relaxing together with shows. Quite close to our picture of well spent weekend time.
